When we first met Rhonda it was in the peak of summer. About a 110 degrees. I.don’t do the heat very well and would run to the sit in the air conditioned car, while she stood outside instead of cooling down with us. If there is one area for improvement, we wish she had explained more clearly what the seller’s credits meant in terms of responsibilities for fixing issues. Had we understood the consequences better, we would have preferred the seller fix the existing problems rather than accepting his offer of a few thousand dollars. We also feel that handling high-stakes negotiations was still a learning curve for Leonor. Despite this, her integrity, work ethic, and empathy set her apart and made all the difference in the end! I was lined up with one of their real estate agents through Zillow mortgage which seem like a good idea at first. But the agent waited until I wanted to make an offer on a condo, and then slipped a Buyers Broker agreement in with the offer documents which I needed to sign. The agreement stated that I needed to pay her the difference between the commission that the seller was willing to pay,(2.5%) and the commission in the buyers broker agreement (3%). It also stated that I needed to pay an additional $500 to the broker but did not state what this fee was for. When I asked the agent about this. She stated that I did not have to pay for the difference in commission, but I still had to sign the agreement stating that I would. As for the brokers fee, she explained that that fee is for all of the work that the broker needs to do after I close on the condo. This all seemed very sneaky to me, and this agreement should have been presented to me upfront before I started working with the agent so I would have all of the facts before deciding to work with her.
I wanted to share my experience with on my sale of our house. My real estate agent was Eleen Vasquez. She made things so easy to get our forms filled out and signed. We got a good price on the house, and she helped me on renting back the house for two months. At the same time, Eleen was also helping me find my own home to buy. I was running out of time to move, but Eleen was very patient with me. She was knowledgeable about the areas of town, where she showed me some homes to look at. I found a townhouse, and luckily she had her maintenance man come in to do a bunch of work, prior to me moving in. She answered my calls in a timely manner, anytime, to help me for any questions or concerns I had. I would recommend Eleen Vasquez to anyone to buy or sell your home.
